A decision that was pushed by the US Government into Mexican territory. Their main concern is stop the flow of narcotics into their land, without worrying of the consequences of their acts into other countries as always. They haven't feel what is like to have war on your own territory. But eventually the cartels will move closer to the consumers, AKA, US...

@carloitosaz The armaments being used by Mexicans are not your standard, civilian type weapons you or I can buy on the open market in the U.S. -. Automatics, missile launchers, RDX, C4, grenades.... those guys are getting the best of the best. This is all coming into the U.S. - Why? Why ship guns back into the U.S. if they're coming from the U.S.? What's their plan? Better still: What is THE plan? There's more than drugs at the bottom of this rabbit hole.
|

|
@80Spill 90 percent of firearms come from the United States of America. People should be allowed to buy guns, but they need to be tracked somehow because it's getting out of hand. Both law enforcement in Mexico and the U.S. aren't armed nearly as good as the cartels.

@DaRealDeal2008 Sounds like an honorable solution, but how? When the cartels control their society and are heavily armed and motivated. The only real way to end this, as it was said on an Anderson Cooper interview with a cartel member, is to end the demand for drugs, especially in America. Either Americans and other people stop using drugs, which is unlikely to happen, or legalize marijuana. Though cocaine and other substances will still be feeding the cartels money, though not nearly as much.

There is no bravery, no true patriotic spirit in Mexico among common people in Mexico, and I'm talking about the poor and lower-middle class to take on the evil of the cartels and corruption in government and police and military! Until they have this in them majority wise, these nusence will never go away!

@manyleaves if usa legalized drugs there would be no need for illegal drug cartels..

@manyleaves During the past 16 years liberal mentality has clawed its way into the Mexican psyche creating a burgeoning group suffering from the victim mentality - Drugs coming out of Africa are shipped into Mexico then sold in America. The money is used to purchase AK 47s manufactured in Venezuela in a Russian arms plant. According to Australian intelligence, America's greatest threat is sitting on the border just waiting to invade - Joined by terrorists supplying training and guns.

@80Spill I agree with you completely but the drug lords would be broke if America stopped using. I know that will not happen. If the corrupt Mexican government got their act together, maybe the population would have a chance to create something good. I feel we are heading down the same path; slow but sure.

@jlrr1989 You are absolutely correct as regards the U.S. role in advancing drug cartels in Mexico - Take the drugs out of the equation and Mexico still has a corrupt government. The combination of drugs and corruption are feeding off one another. Given my experience with both the Mexican and US DEA I don't think this problem is going away anytime soon - The Mexican DEA is a scum bag group of murdering psychopaths - And we supply their weapons!

@badboyzgoodguyz you should go its very beautiful, i went to a border town where most of the violence supposedly happens according to the fear mongering American media and i was just fine and i didn't see any shoot outs or bodies in the street....
